JENNIFER SCHULZ

AmSAT Certified Alexander Instructor

Jennifer Schulz is an AmSAT certified Alexander Technique teacher in Los Angeles. She is an adjunct faculty member at Pomona College where she teaches Alexander Technique (AT), and at Cal State San Bernardino where she teaches Acting and Movement. Jennifer melds acting pedagogy with Alexander Technique to foster emotional resilience, move actors towards psychophysical action with full freedom, and promote wellbeing in actor training.

Previously, Jennifer taught Alexander Technique classes at Lesly Kahn & Co. in Hollywood, and Advanced Movement for the BFA Screen Actors as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Theatre at Chapman University.

Before becoming an AT teacher, Jenifer was an actor based out of New York. She is a graduate of the Alexander Training Institute of Los Angeles, holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of South Carolina, and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Penn State.

NICK GEORGE

Nick George is an LA based Alexander Technique instructor with a background in performance and athletics. Nick’s professional acting career in film, television and theatre brought him to the transformational power of the Alexander Technique. Since becoming certified in 2013, Nick has had a thriving private and group practice in the Los Angeles area.  Nick is focused on intentional, compassionate teaching which aims to support the individual needs of the student and to offer the lasting life changes that AT can bring to your life and work. In addition to Nick’s private, live and online classes, he also teaches in Los Angeles in several acting studios and classes, as well as for businesses and organizations world wide; he is also a guest teacher at Pomona College each semester. When not Teaching Alexander Technique, Nick is an avid surfer, runner and traveler who loves writing and recording music in his spare time. You can catch some of his recent acting work on NBC’s ‘This is Us’ or Amazon's ‘Good Girls Revolt.’
